
Dan Mitrut born in 1971 in Corbasca, Bacau County, Romania. Teacher, lawyer, researcher on Romanian astromythology and popularizer of astronomy, serving as technical vice - president of the Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy - SARM.
Meteor observer included in the Data Base of the International Meteor Organization - IMO.
Author of astronomical poems, photographs, dramas, sculptures and artworks, some of his creations being published in European and American magazines or web sites of astronomy, poetry, photography, science fiction, mythology, avantgarde and haiku.
Author of original recitals of astrofolk music at important international astronomical events: EuRoEclipse Perseids '99 - Romania and the IMO Conference 2000 - Romania.
Multiple laureate for astronomical arts at the Cosmopoetry Festival of SARM.
